Car turns off after a few minutes it works.

Q.My son has an Acura integra the rpm's start to act funny moving crazy his car turns off after a few minutes it works. We've replaced the fuel pump but started to do it again what else could it be.
I already checked/done: The fuel filter and map sensor have been replaced
More Info required can you tell me exactly what is going on with the rpms and when it happens
Addition When he turns his car on his rpm's jus go up and down and that's when he knows his car won't go he waits a while and his car does fine but he can be driving and it jus dies he engine will be going but when he pushes on the gas it doesn't go anywhere n it dies.
More Info required try unplugging the iac valve on the throotle body to see if the idle stablizes
Addition Sorry I'm a female n have no idea wher that is and will that help the problem.
More Info required i am trying to see if that is what is causing the issue. If the idle stablizes with it unplugged then it needs to be replaced...i will see if i can find a picture of where it is to help you out..

Answer here is where it is. It is circled in red in the picture. Is the check engine light on....
Addition No it's not on.
