I need to know how to replace the wheel baring in the rear suspension of my 2003 mustang cobra.
Car: Ford, Mustang Cobra, 2003 - Back to Fix-It - Ford Repair Manuals
Q.I need to know how to replace the wheel baring in the rear suspension of my 2003 mustang cobra. Need installation diagram.
I already checked/done: I have the part but need to see a diagram on how to install the wheel baring (right rear tire)
Answer I hope this helps. I did many explorer independent rear suspension axle Hub bearings. They have to be pressed out and in. With the spindle or mounting assembly aluminum this makes the job even more difficult. Here is the picture I found.
I would remove the outside axle shaft nut, upper and lower bolts to the control arms, and the e-brake cable(wheel, caliper and rotor first)
