Car wont start
Car: Audi, A3, 2005, 2.0TDi DSG - Back to Fix-It - Audi Repair Manuals
Q.audi a3 2.0 tdi dsg plugged in diagnostic came up rpm crank sensor changed it then it came up cam sensor still wont start keeps giving me these 2 codes customer said it cut out after topping up the oil level..can any 1 suggest anything could it be the ecu.
I already checked/done: i have plugged in diagnostic it came up with cam and crank sensor changed them both car still turns over but still wont fire diagnostic several times and gives no fault codes or gives me crank or cam sensor after turning over several times ..
More Info required what are the code #'s of the faults and wording please?
Addition rpm sensor non plausible signal and cam position sensor sorry dont have the codes with me at the moment. It also keeps flashing on the dashboard low oil pressure.

More Info required well if you crank a long time the message will come up !!
it has a timer from the time you start cranking to start up if exceeds the time then light comes on !!
which sensor and location did u replace?
Addition i have chanded the crank sensor located behind the oil cooler at the side ov the gear box and the cam sensor under the cam pulley .
More Info required did u use timing belt tools to lock the crank and cam when you replaced the cam sensor?
Addition yes locked the crank and cam all timing is correct.

what scan tool do u have? Can u get measured values of the different blocks?
Addition snap on ethos scan tool. Cant get measered values.
More Info required so u don't have the euro package right?
there can be manufacturer specific codes stored and you cannot access them w/o euro package
Addition how do i go around this do i have to take it to audi ..
Answer audi or a vw dealer can help out
prefer audi dealer!!
