Car: Honda, Prelude Si, 1986, 2.0 - Back to Fix-It - Honda Prelude Si Repair Manuals
Q.PGM-FI light comes on, led on PCM flashes 12 times, pauses then repeats. All quick flashes no long, one pause. any ideas?
I already checked/done: replaced EGR valve. checked vacuum lines, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor.

Addition is it common for the ECUs to flash codes with all short lights instead of a long/short combo for double-digit codes? Manual I have gives no indication that the ECU would ever flash 12 shorts instead of 1 long and 2 short. Also, if there is no problem with the electrical side of the egr system, is there another problem that could cause the code? Ie: vacuum lines/devices in the box on the firewall or elsewhere.
