7-speed Mode Steering Shift + (Plus) Switch Test

Precautions and Procedures.

Remove the steering wheel.

2.	Check the steering shift + (plus) switch for continuity between cable reel subharness 13P connector terminals No. 6 and No. 9. There should be continuity while pressing the steering shift + (plus) switch, and no continuity when the switch is released.

3.	Steering shift + (plus) switch test has finished if the test result is OK. If the switch works incorrectly at the 13P connector, test the switch at the switch connector.

4.	Remove steering shift + (plus) switch connector from its clamp, and disconnect the connector.

Check the steering shift + (plus) switch for continuity between the switch connector terminals while pressing the steering shift + (plus) switch and when the switch is released. There should be continuity while pressing the steering shift + (plus) switch, and no continuity when the switch is released.

Replace the steering shift + (plus) switch if the switch works incorrectly.

Replace the cable reel subharness if the switch is OK.
